Naamah or Na'amah ((ヘブライ語:נַעֲמָה); "pleasant") is a demon described in the Zohar, a foundational work of Jewish mysticism. == In the Zohar == Naamah appears in the Zohar as one of the mates of the archangel Samael. She, along with her cohort Lilith, causes epilepsy in children. After Cain kills Abel, Adam separates from Eve for 130 years. During this time, Lilith and Naamah visit him and bear his demonic children, who became the Plagues of Mankind. (Zohar 3:76b-77a) In another story from the Zohar, Naamah corrupts Ouza and Azael.
